The Canterbury Jockey Club's Autumn t Meeting, whioh will be commenced on t Monday, gives every promise of being one of the most successful gatherings ever organised by the club. Tha majority of , the best horses in the colony are , engaged in the various events, and , the acceptances are exceptionally large. . The weather at the time of writing has a t settled appearance, and the course is certain to be in capital order. Visitors from all parts have arrived in town, and the attendance appears likely to be above the average.
