The New Zealand Polo Association's tournament for the Savile Cup waa concluded to-day, when. the final heat batween Eangitikei No. 1 team (Messrs Eiddiford, J." G. -Wilson, Bull and Blundell) and Manawatu No. 1 team (Messrs A. S. Baker, A. Williams, W. Lloyd and Snow) took place. ' There waa a strong north-easterly wind, and it was thought Manawatu would benefit by it, but tbe result showed that it did net iut.rfpjre with tha play, Eangitikei scoring eight goals and Manawatu three. E_n_itikei therefore ia the winner of the cup for 189_. Thia evening the vi-itora wero entertained at a ball by the townspeople, and to-morrow sports will be held on the racecourae.
