New South Wales v. North Island. [Peh Pbbss Association.'! WELLINGTON, Feb. 20. The match was resumed this morning in fine weather. Lusk scored rapidly from the jump, and several changes in bowling were resorted to. The century appeared after twenty-five minutes' play. Cowley then went on, and with the last ball of the over dismissed the , Hawke's Bay man, who had compiled 39 in about as many minutes by excellent cricket. 117—5—39. Gore put his first ball into the wickets, with the score unchanged. The two Mills were then in, and played out time till luncheon, when the score stood at 121 for six wickets. Scores :— NORTH ISLAND.
