Albion Football Club.

'^' ; ; — ANNUAL MEETING. The ninth anuual general meeting of the Albion Football Club was held in St Michael's echoolroom last evening. There was an attendance o? about thirty members, and the President (Mr T. S. Foster) I occupied the ohair. The report was of a ! satisfactory nature. It showed that the j club had played 30 matches, of which 23 ' were won, four drawn and three lost; points —for 273, against 63. Two of the three teams had been undefeated in their home matches, and the First Fifteen had won the President* Cup. After paying all liabilities there was a small credit balance. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. I The election of officers resulted as follows :— President, Mr T. S. Foster (reelected); vice-presides ta, Dr Moprhouse, Messrs W. Johnson, T. French, H. Hadfield, 3P. "Wools, J. Lawrenpe and JVC. Cusackj honorary secretary, Mr T. Maloae ; honorary treasurer, Mr W. Treloar; captain, Mr J. Fotsy th ; vice-captain, Mr J. Patterson; selection committee, the Captain, Vice-Captain, and Messrs G. Henwood, C. J. Butler and D. Reese; delegate to the Canterbury Rugby Union, Mr T. French; member of committee, Mr J. Conolly; custodian, Mr Hen wood. The question of entering two teams for the President's Cup competition was held over till a future meeting. It was resolved—" That the club's delegate to the Canterbury Rugby Union be instructed to vote in favour of the Canterbury Rugby Union affiliating with the New Zealand Rugby Union." A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the retiring officers, and a similar compliment to the Chairman closed the meeting.
