The i factory butter by the Coptic realised 106s to 110s ; choice parcels 112a. ' Wool is unchanged. ! Mr J. H. Reynolds, of New Zealand, assisted by the Victorian agents in London, has formed an important combination to receive and distribute the finest quality of Victorian bufcter 'fnext season. Mr .Reynolds himself Las taken all the shipments of fine New Zealand butter. The combination has secured cold storage accommodation, and will thus be able to [ regulate the market. ISir Andrew Clark and Sir Saul Samuel concur that it is desirable that Mr Duncan Gillies (the recentlyappointed Agent- General for Victoria) should bring a formal agreement from the colonies respecting the coinage of silver and bronze, otherwise it will be futile to reopen the discussion on the subject. The New Zealand Trust and Loan Company has declared a dividend of 9 per cent. . The new Board of Directors of the New Zealand and Eiyer Plate Land Mortgage Company will ascertain the losses and assess the amount required to be written off. They will then consult a meeting of shareholders as to the future policv of the company. HONGKONG, Jan. 19. There is a silver crisis in Hongkong, Shanghai and Singapore, owing to the scarcity of Mexican dollars. [P*b Press Association. I • WELLINGTON, Jan. 19. The dairy produce shipped Home by the Bimutaka at this port consisted of 317 { tons of butter and 38 tonß of cheese. The i Auokland and Lyttelton portions comprised 146 and 51 tons respectively, making a i total of 462 tons from the colony.
