[Special to Press Association.] PAEIS, Jan. 19. The French imports and exports for the year each show a decrease of 250,000,000 francs (£10,000,000.) LONDON, Jan. 19. It is proposed to put off: the February wool sales, or limit the quantity to be offered. The xate of exchange to Australia has been lowered \ per cent. At' the wool sales there is brisk competition. Prices are unchanged. Cross-bred wool, from New Zealand, bearing the Olrig brand, realised lOd.
The New Zealand Land Association, Limited, has received the following cable message; dated LONDON, Jan. 19. Frozen Meat. — Market unchanged. Tallow. — There ia leas demand for mutton tallow, but there is an improved inquiry for other descriptions. Good beef tallow is worth 27s 6d per cwt. Other quotations unchanged since last telegram.
