NEW TEA-GOWN MODELS.

The new tea-gown, models are charming. One in pink ondine silk, with lines of brown fur down the front, which is filled in with cream lace over silk, caught ia here and there with brown velvet knots, matching the fur in tone, is one of the prettiest yet seen. The full lace sleeves over silk are branded with velvet with knotted ends, where the bands meet ; the gown is slightly trained. Another remarkably handsome tea-gown, really mors fit for dinner wear than the purpose for which it is made, is of shot mother-of- i pearl moire antique and costly black lace, 1 so fine that it has a cobwebby effect, and over the moire is very pleaßing. The bodice is cut square bath in front and ab the back, and a square cape of ' lac9, the shape worn in the early part of the century, falls over ifc, the long eud3 being tied loosely iu fronts. This gown is semi-trained, and has full sleeves, -cut well off the shoulders, and veiled by the lace of the deep cape. The neweßt; moires are of very delicate colours, with tiny black pin spots over them. One ofi the palest blue, with black spots, is made up with a full front of soft black silk and silk oleeves. There is much more matarial used in tea gowns this year ; they are fall and flowing, and consist very often of two distinct dreEses, one tight and fitting the figure underneath, with the over dress very full, of some gauze-like material, harmonising with the under dress; laca and fur passementerie of the most expensive kind being used for trimmings.
