♦■ I [Pbb Pbhss association.] J WELLINGTON, Dkc. 20. A lad named Henry Grimes waa in a boat which waa swamped yesterday, and had an exceedingly narrow escape from drowning. He had sunk thrice, and was _ lying exhausted on the bottom, when lescuod by W. Mulgan, third engineer of ', the steamer Janet Nicoll.
