— , — i Canterbury Jockey Club, j At the ordinary monthly meeting of the Committee of the Canterbury Jockey Club j held yesterday it was decided that, in ' future, the monthly meetings should be j held on the first Tuesday instead of the first Monday in each month. Ac, however, the Club's summer meeting is set down for decision on Tuesday, Jan. 2, the next meeting of the Committee will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 3. It was decided that in future owners' passes will only be issued ■ to those persons who run horses in their own names or under registered assumed names. The caretaker reported B, Mason j and T. Sheenan for training horseß on the ! course proper without permission, and they were each fined JJS. F. Mulholland, for betting totalieator odds at the Club's Spring Meeting, was warned off the course during the pleasure of the Club. Mr J. Cresßwell was appointed starter for the Club's Summer Meeting.
