The Rev C. Dallaston preached at both the morning and evening: services to large congregations. A children's service was held in the afternoon, when Mr J. J. North, of Dunedin, delivered an address. The Rev C. Dallaston presented the prizes won by the scholars at the scriptural examination. Misses Taylor and Clark sang a duet, and Mr Butterfield gave a recitation. About two hundred and fifty scholars, under the leadership of Mr T. Chivers, ear.g a number of speoial hyuiua at all the services in- a very creditable manner, and an orchestra often gave very good assistance.
