Errington was still in front as the field swept past Cutis', but as they commenced to go down the back stretch Pegasus ran through and took command, followed by Errington and ! Reflector ia the order named, while Skirmisher was still last, five lengths m the rear. Pegasus showed the way on paßt the Kennels, but Skirmisher had gone up and supplanted Errington in second position, while Reflector was now last. Aa they commenced to go round the top turn Skirmisher closed on the leader, and tbe pair entered the straight side by side a couple of lengths in front of Reflector and ..Errington, who were together. Skirmisher and Pegasus ran together for the next hundred yards, but Skirmisher then commenced to draw out, and with Reflector beaten at the distance, Skirmisher went on, and won easily by a couple of lengths from Pegasus, with Reflector, five lengths away, third, and Errington on his quarters. Time— 2min 42_sec. Dividends £1 19s and £2 63, The following are the winners of THE DEEBY STAKES.
