LYTTELTON.
This Day. (Before S. R, Webb, Esq.) Alleged Larceny. — Samuel Nortby was charged with entering the shop of Messrs Owen and Dyer, on Friday night, and stealing therefrom a leg of pork and four shillings in coppers. Sergeant Rufcledge applied for a remand till Thursday, which waa granted.
San Fbancibco Mail.— The inward mail is expected to arrive at Lyttelton by the Botorua this afternoon, and there will be a counter delivery of correspondence usually delivered by, letter carriers, \ including those lor Sydenham, at the Ohier< j Boat Offioe*.fwn£toi9.p.m..to«night.
