The score consisted of seven trie?, one of which was converted, and a potted goal. . Thiß season the Manawatu Juniors have defeated the Taranaki, Wanganui and Bush Unions, but suffered defeat at the hands of Wellington by two points. Manawatu scored forty-nine points in all against four points by its opponent?. WELLINGTON, Oct. 7. At a meeting of delegates to the Rug^>y TJniOD, the proposal for the federation of the Rugby Unions of Australasia was unanimously adopted, and the annual meeting will be asked to confirm it.
