Judge, Mr R. Mason j starter, Mr H. Piper. The weather is lovely for the Spring Race Meeting of the Plumpton Park Racing and Trotting Club, and the attendance is large. Erin-go-Bragh wag quickest away, but was Bteadied, and Matariki carried on tlie running round the top turn, followed by Black Hawk, Balquither and Justice in the order named, while Avondale fell, and Stranger refused. Mabariki was still in command as they swept down the straight and past the atand, but at the bottom turn Black Hawk joined him, while Balquither dropped back, and Justice went on third/ At the top turn Matariki and Black Hawk were Btill together, but Black Hawk fell at the last fence, and Justice making her effort, went on and won by a length and a-half from Matariki, with Erin-go-Bragh a similar distance away third, and Ivanhoe fourth. Hero Wheedler waa I in difficulties, and Addington, making his effort, got up in the last hundred yards, and won by a length from Radical, with Taranna a length and s half away third, and Corruption fourth. As they went down the back stretch, Vbgengang, followed by Busybody, commenced to move up, and with Roßehill beaten at the top tarn, Vogengang drew up to the others, and going on won very easily by three lengths from Busybody, who came fast in the straight, 'and defeated Nenuphar by a length for seoond place, with Magazine i fourth. Sherwm's b c Barmby, by Vanguard —Miss Lucy, Bst 51b (Derrett) 3 King Wai jumped away with a clear lead of Neroli, and although the latter joined him at the entrance to the straight, King Wai drew away again and won easily by two lengths from Neroli, with Barmby half a dozen lengths away third.
