Atalanta Cycling Club.-— A general meeting of this Club was held last evening, Mrs Horace Thompson presiding. It was unanimously decided to take part in the opening run of the season, to be held on Thursday, Oct. 19. A letter was read from the Mayor, inviting the members to afternoon tea on that occasion. A lengthy discussion took place in regard to Clubrooms, and it was finally decided to bold the meotingß in future in Hobbs' Buildings. It was anticipated that a large number of the membera would be present' for the opening run, and the Committee decided to invite all lady cyclists to attend. The place of meeting and time will be duly advertised. The usual compliment to the captain for presiding closed the meeting. Timabtt Show.-— The entries of stock for the annual show of the Titnaiu Agricultural and Pastoral ABeociation, to be held , on Oot. 24 and 26, will close on Oct. 14, » and other entries on Oct. 17.
