Revenue Returns.
[Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Oct. 2. The Customs returns for the Colony for September are not yet complete. The Patea return is not to hand. So far, the amount is J8144,101. For the six months the revenue has exceeded the Colonial Treasurer's estimate for that period by about J. 20,000. The beer duty last month was J. 4528. For the six months the beer duty is J62727 under the Treasurer's estimate.
