The Gourlay and Walton Combination.
Tbi3 Company, which commences a season at the Taeatra Royal on Tuesday in Skipped hy the Light of the Moon, has been attracting very large and enthusiastic audiences at the Opera House in Wellington. Writing of the piece, the Post says : — "The piece Ima in ifc undoubted elements of popularity, which Wellington theatvegoers were not long in dißCovering. It 3 dialogue is bright without being over-pre-tentious j its situations are laughingly absurd ; its incidents original and fnnny ; and its Characters are not only amusing and interesting, but have a olearly-dtfined relationship to tho plot", which, though light, is well held together. If laughter be the best doctor then those in search of the beet quality of that kind 0? medico should see Skipped by the Light of the Moon at least once."
