Linwood Football Club.— The xnembera of the Linwood Football Club held their annual ball in Hobbs' assembly rooms laat evening. There wao a large attendance, representatives being present from kindred Clubs. The room was beautifully, decorated. All the ante-rooms were very' prettily adorned. During the intervals between the dances songa were bum; by some of the members and visitors. Thj& < ball was one of the most successful held in the history of the Club, and all present thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Mr C. H.
