[ The Auckland Herald says :— The recent arrivals from Sydney have great difficulty in getting into situations, owing to the prejudice which has been raised through ; the number of Sydney arrivals who have i made the acquaintance of the police since ! their arrival here. It is scarcely fair that the innocent should suffer for the guilty, and Mr Ferguson, the Labour Bureau agent, is doing his best to dispel such prejudices and suspicions where he is satisfied the party seeking for work ia deserving of it. Mr Ferguson has not been able to let the whole of the contracts for felling one thousand acres of forest in the Oxford-Rotorua bush.
