The racehorses Mutiny and Waterbury passed through from Napier to-day, en route to Christchurch to fulfil their National engagements. Felix has been scratched for all engagements for the meeting of the Canterbury Trotting Club. / There was a large attendance at the auction sale of privileges, in connection with the Canterbury Trotting Club's meeting, held at Messrs Tonks, Norton and Co.'s rooms yesterday. The publican's booth fell to the bid of Mr C. Amyes for £25 ; the con-i fectioner's booth to Mr J. Minohinton at £1 10 a j oyafer and fruit stall to Mr J. Minchinton at £1 ss; and the right of sports to Mr Butcher at 10a.
