Working Mbn's Club.— A concert w/ie. held in the hall of the Sydenham Working Men's Club, in aid of the circulating? library, on Tuesday evening. There was &. very good attendance. Songs were givep^. by Messrs Maurice and Haig, and soi^v highly amusing comic songs were contributed by Messrs Price, Peate and Builen. Selections on the mandolin and banjo were well played by Meßsrß Kermode and Post. A violin solo was given by Mr Collier, and Mr Prentice's Band jig aa/. clog dance were skilfully executed. ■■< recitation by 3iv Hawley met with appreciation. Tho entertainment concluded with a faroa which kept the audience in roara of laughter. A short dance wound up a very enjoyable evening.
