In order that these crude oils may not be taken for our Pure Volatile Eucalypti Extract, which is recognised by the medical division of the Prussian Government to be. of perfectly pore origin, as gar information forwarded to us through the Coesol at Melbourne, March 2, 1878 we state:— It is proved by tests made by the Medioal Clinics of the Uniformities at Bonn and Greifewald (Prussia), and reported by Dr Shulz, Professor of Pharmacology at Bonn, and Professor Br Mosler. These crude oils,, or so-called Suealypti Extracts, are discernible— 1, By their deficiency in pungent odour {which our product, ttae only genuine Eucalypti Extract, develoya most freo^y through its surplus of oxygan). 2. By their a&oholio, thio, and mobile appear* ance being xednoed in Bpeciflo density through the pxeßeace of aoids. 8. By their taste, the result of the ooafcraotum tendenoy of resins and tanata. If these erwie oils, or so-called Euoalypti Ex. traots, are apylied by mistake in oases of oroup, bronchitis, diphtheria, internal inflammations, dysentery, &0., the eonneguenoeß are most appalling.
