. TPkb Fkebb Association.! AUCKLAND, Feb. 27. The flood in j&aihu valley, near Dargaville, ia the heaviest ever known. It made A clean aweep of Maori plantation^, houses, pigs, sheep and poultry. One Maori child was drowned and several people fajad to eeeape through roofs aad to pasß the might on rafts. Tha Kaiwai railway bridg* is Hooked with drift, bufc j,ot otfoflpvfoo gjuoh damaged.
