A match between the Ashburton and Bakaia Cricket Clubs was played on Wednesday afternoon, at" Ashburton. In the fiist innings, Bakaia scored 37 and Ashburton 108,, 39 of which were made by C. Chapman. The match between the Veterans' Cricket Club and a team chosen from the Bangiora Borough Council, will be played at Hagley Park this morning.
