Dbttid39m. —An ordinary fortnightly: meeting of the Anchor Stodge, U.A.0.D*,,, was held in the rooms of the Bible Christian Church, Woolaton, on Mondayevening; V.A.BroM. A. Bergman in the chair. The cesemonv of installing S.A. Bro X Bottomly in the office of D.P. for No. 2 District took place. District Grand President, B»6 P. W. Peafold, assisted by P.D.P. Bros Bennio. and Hobsbn, conducted the installation. It was decided to confer with the Lodges o£ the District . on the subject of presenting IP.D.P. Bro X M. Rennie with a Hast D.P;, collar. During the evening, songs were given by Bros B, Hopping and T. W. Pv Bound, and Bro Olarkson of the Timarn Lodge. An interesting papev waa read on. "The Effect of Thought on the Health oi the Body, and its Usefulness in Recovering- , the Sick." Bros Hobaon*, Hancock and Bergman epoke on the paper, and it waa resolved that the discussion should be resumed -at a future moating. . The liodge was closed in due forts; by the Y.A.
