A special meeting to discuas the threshing question was held in the . Foresters' Hall, Waimate, on Wednesday evening. The delegate reported vißiting the mills at work in the district. It was stated that one only gave the rate of pay required by the men, but several other owners had agreed to make an advance in wages.
