• • [Fbb Pbesb Association.] l WELLINGTON, Feb. 15. i In the Supreme Court to-day Mr and > Mrß Russell, of Wanganui, are applying , for an order to compel E. W. Mills to t transfer to Mrs Russell, his daughter, twenty-five shares in E. W. Mills and Co. The plaintiffs allege that the shares were b presented to them as a wedding gift, but > they have never been transferred. The defendant denies that he intended to transfer the shares, but says he held them , for the benefit of his daughter, she reoeiv- , ing the annual dividends. The case is . proceeding.
