Road Rollins. — The Lyttelton Borough Council has engaged a traction engine for the purpose of rolling the metal which has recently been put on the roads of the Borough. The engine was at work yesterday in Oxford street. School of Agriculture. — Yesterday the Board of Governors of Canterbury College decided to appoint Mr G. P. Foaden, an English applicant, Director of the Sohool of Agriculture, Lincoln, subject; to the Board being satisfied aa to hie capacity for organising and governing an. institution such as the Lincoln College.
