[FBOM OTTB OWN CORRESPONDENT.] EKEFTON, Nov. 26. The following is the Stock Exchange report: — The amalgam returns from the United Alpine, Globe, Progress and Big River batteries to-day total 12890z, and the retorted gold from the Golden Lead 970z for the battery running a month with two shifts. The result; of the cleaning up at the Cumberland mine is looked for on Monday, and next week the month's yield from the Alexander dredge is due, and a handsome return is expected. The Globe and Big Eiver yields are an improvement this week. A most promising development in the Specimen Hill lease is about the feature of the week, and these shares have had some brisk business, and buyers are still unsupplied. Very few other lines have been affected to any extent, and prices Bhow no material change for the week. The Big Eiver return sbowe that splendid quality quartz is being treated. Cumberlands are firm at former ratee, and reports concerning the mine are moat encouraging 1 . Eurekas And Homeward Bounds are as before. Globes are at laßt week's price, and a probable early rise is feoked for. Low rates offer for Hercules. No. 2 Keep-it-Darks were sold at Is 6d, and Sir Charleß Russells have buyers now and then. Sir Francis Drakes are a little under former rates, and the prospects are such as should lead to some investment. Specimen Hills Bold at from 1b upwards, the week closing with buyers prepared to go over that figure. There has been a little mention of United Alpines, and 16s 6d was offered to-day for email parcels. Wealth of Nations are stationary.
