• [Peb Pbess Association.! WELLINGTON, Oct. 19. Mr Purvis, chief engineer of the lonic, has succeeded in bringing nine lobsters alive out of twelve. On two previous attempts all died. They are a present from Mr Ewen, of Meesra Sargood, Sun and Ewen, to the Otago Acclimatisation Society, and will be sent south as bood. as possible. Mr Purvis brought also twenty-two Teneriffe partridges and a pair of Teneriffe grouse for the local Society.
