The following appeared in the Lytldton Times this morning : — Foreign Talent, TO THE EDITOR. Sir,— Could you kindly inform me why a street band of foreign musicians should be engaged to play at the farewell luncheon to his Excellency Lord Onslow, when there are so many good professional musicians residing in Christchurch ? By inserting this you would greatly oblige.— l am, &c 7 PAIR PLAT.
