Businesi ITotioes. « THE NELSON JAM FACTORY." (From •JThe Colonist." Nelson, October 81st. 1891.) Although Messrs Kirkpatriok and Co, purohaasd all the suitable fruit they could obtaia last season, their stocks ot Jams, &c., were exhausted tome weeks ago, and for more than a month paat they have been unable to fulfil orders. This fact, though in one sense unsatisfactory to the firm named, is gratifying, inasruuah as it proves the deservedly high favour in which the "K" Jams are held throughout the Colony. This result is also of considerable interest to the local fruitgrowers, for it is an indication that during the coming season there will be an increased demand for suitable fruitp. Messrs Kirkpatnolc have had many difficulties to contend witn in the past, bnt having established a reputation for their goods above that enjoyed by other makers, there is every indication that the demand for their preserves will inorease year by vear. We congratulate them on their success. sn|Tß HOPE TO HAVE OUB NEW SEASON'S ASSORTED " K " JAM EEADT tN JANITAB7. LSO S. KIRKPATRTCK & CO. COM.
