Bible Christian District Meeting.

♦ On Wednesday evening missionary meetings were held at Kaiapoi and Marshland, addresses being given by members and friends of the distriot meeting. Business .was resumed on Thursday morning at ten o'olook. The Bey F. T. Bead presented the connezional statistics of the Colony, which showed a considerable increase in the membership. The Bev B. H. Ginger presented the chapel report, showing that more than JBISOO had been raised for trast purposes during the year. Two new chapels and one parsonage had been builb, and several improvements effected. The properties are valued at over .£6OOO. The report was adopted and the Secretary thanked for his services. The Beva J. Crewes and W. Grigg were appointed the Examining Committee for the enauing year.
