Well Merited Praise.

J. H. Jones, Esq., Survey Camp, Toko block, Taranaki, New Zealand, writes : — " Dear Sir, — The bottle of Clements Tonic I received from you gave me great satisfaction and ease. I suffered from nervous debility and prickly heat, and one bottle of Clements Tonic did me a power of good, and I intend to always keep it by me, a& it did so much good." H. Garkell, Esq., writes on May 20 :— " St Leonards, Sydney. Dear Sir,— l can with pleasure bear witness to the great relief I have received from the use of Clements Tonic and Dr Fletcher's Pills. I have been a great sufferer for eleven years from liver disease, with at times considerable enlargement, which caused a swelling in the side under the ribs and was very painful, the abdomen, bowels, &c, always felt very tender on pressure, with most obstinate constipation, for which I took Fletcher's Fills, the first dose caused a copions evacuation and gave great relief, and I thought I was all right, but after a week I was as bad again as before. I again had recourse to Fletcher's Fills ; but I took Clements Tonic as well this time and continued it for a couple of months. After the first dose I felt better and got rid of all the symptoms I used to have, as flushings of heat and cold, splitting headf aches, pains in the side and small of the back, extreme lassitude, and the general feeling of 'all right to-day, seedy tomorrow,' all these symptoms with many others I used to have, but now, thanks to Clements Tonic, I am quite cured. I can get up in a morningrefreshed by the night's rest, and can eat a good breakfast, whereas before taking the medicine I scarcely ever could eat anything, and when I did it nearly always made me vomit, but now I am quits well and have been bo for five months. I have no cause to fear a relapse. I don't mind your publishing my case if you add nothing to it, a 9 it may bring relief to similar sufferers/ Thomas Oliver, Esq., proprieter Lillydale Express, Vie, writes under date Nov. 10th, '90 : — Dear Sir, — About two months ago Mrs Oliver went to Sydney as weak and helpless as a child, notwithstanding the doctors had tried to baffle her complaint. Her friends in Sydney (with whom she is at present) persuaded her to take Clements Tonic, and from reports the results are almost magical, instead of only being able to walk 100 yards she can now walk half a mile without the least trouble. She hopes to return shortly, she saya, ' a new creature,' thanks to Clements Tonic." Such grateful acknowledgments as these must carry conviction to the most sceptical mind ; the great pity is that owing to the | wonderful efficacy of this remedy, unBcrapuloua traders offer substitutes in i place of Clements Tonic when this article is demanded. Patients must remember that a man who will sell an inferior article for the sake of extra profit is a villain and a rogue, for he not only robs you of your money, but trifles with your health, for whilst you fancy you are secure, the disease is making headway all the time. Beware of these swindlers and expose them to your neighbours, and buy no Tonic that does not bear the signature of F. Moore Clements in blue ink on wrappers and labels, and the address, Newtown, N.S.W., to be obtained from Messrs Cook and Boes, Colombo street, Chris tchurch.
