PRIMITIVE METHODIST CONFERENCE.
THIS DAT. A trial sermon was preached by the 3\or J. Cocker, from the text Matthew vm, 10 and 11, at seven o'clock this morning. ALLOCATION COMMITTHE. This Committee wa3 appointed, consisting of the Eevs J. Clover, W. Laycock and J. Guy and Messrs J. Taylor, Froggart and Gibson, the Committee to report on Monday next. CONNEXIONAL BEmESENTATIVE. It was decided that a letter should be sent to the English Conference, asking them to appoint the Rev Joseph FergUBBOB, D.D., or the Eev Thomas Guttery, to visit the Colony during the year. DIBTRICT MISSIONARY COMMITTBE. It was agreed that the action of the District Committee should bo sustained in Bending the Eev G. Carr to the New Plymouth station to open a new mission in that district. DEPUTATIONS. It was decided to receive a deputation from the United Free Methodist Conference on Monday afternoon. ■ exajiiner'b report.
