Avonside Winteb Entsbtainments. — Another of the winter's series of entertainments was held last night in the parißh schoolroom, Avonaide*, and was well attended. The programme was a liberal' one, and the items were well received. Among those most appreciated were songs by Miss Benson, Mrs C. Edgar, Master Pascoe and Messrs Halley and Edgar. Miss Labatt also contributed two pianoforte solos. The singing of the National. Anthem by all present concluded the entertainment, "Ar-ib ' ana •■* Shah Brand Taaft, isovof all grocers and, attyrokeepen ' . " "
