SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP.
The final matches for the Senior Championßhip were played on Saturday, and the result leaves the Merivale team top of the list with tho good margin of two and a half points. At Lancaster Park Merivale defeated Linwood by nine points to two, while at the North Park Christchurch gained an easy victory over East Chriotchurch by ten to four. The positions of the Clubs are now as follow, this being the second year iv succession that Merivale has gained tho championship: —
MERIVALE v. LINWOOD. The Merivale score consisted of two goals and three tries, and Linwood's a penalty goal.
