. .The annual meeting in connection with th< North Belt Presbyterian Church was held last evening. Tho Key Robert Erwin pastor of the congregation,, occupied thi chair. There was a good representation ol the members, office-bearers and adherent: of the church.. , The kirk session report foi the year just closed was read and adopted Th.c statement of the spiritual and tern! poral affairs of the church was very favour able. the. financial report , and balance Sheet were read and, adopted. The balance sheet showed receipts JE74C 15s 9d, expenditure .£732 16s 2d, leaving a credit balance of £13 19s 7d. The Sabbath School report and balance Bheetwere submitted by the Hon Secretary. The report showed a continued, prosperity in this branch ol the churc'h'fl work, the financial yeai closing with a balance of J£3 7s Id. Reports were also read and adopted from the Band of Hope and Literary Associations. Botl these Associations were shown to be in t flourishing condition, and good work wa« being done in the Temperance cause. The •Literary Society had advanced with such rapid strides that at the present time the accommodation for the weekly meetings if insufficient. A determined effort will be made during the coming year to gain an increase of room accommodation. A Fellowship Association had been established during the past year, meeting on Sunday mornings from 10 to 10.50 a.m., for the discussion of Biblical subjects by the young men of the congregation. The meeting was closed by the reverend Chairman pronouncing thjfbenediction.
