The Committee met at the Christchurcl Eesident Magistrate's Court at noon to day; present —Messrs F. J. Kimbell, J. V. Boss, J. P. Jameson and E. Westfnra, when the following licenses were renewed without comment, the police reporting favourably in each case: —Thomas Leap, Junction Hotel; Cecil Louisson, Hereford Hotel; Arthur William Lane, Gladstone Hotel; Sophia Taylor, Clarendon Hotel; and Thomas Bullivant, Britannia Hotel.
