Ox hides are quoted at 3£d to 3fd. Money is declining owing to the larc;e amount of bullion now in reserve. Three months bills 3% per cent. The English wheat markofc is steady, the Continental firm, the American unchanged. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, has • received the following cable message, dated LONDON, Way 29. Tallow. — Pine mutton tallow is dull of sale at 28s per cwt. Other quotations unchanged, since last telegram. Hemp— Market dull ; quotations unchanged. Frozen Meat. — Mutton market unchanged. Lamb market weaker. Prime New Zealand lambs are worth per carcase 5d per lb. Beef market firmer. New Zealand beef, fore- j quarters, is worth 3|d per lb. Other quotations unchanged since last telegram. The Canterbury Frozen Meat and Daiiy Produce Export Company, Limited, has received cable advice from London quoting North Canterbury mutton 4|d per lb, lamb 5f d.
