Alarm of Fire.— About half-past nine o'clock last night an alarm of fire was given from the eleotrio box at the corner of Colombo and St Asaph streets. The firemen turned out with tbeir engines, but went no further than the South belt, being informed that the cause of the alarm was i, burning gorse hedge in Sydenham, south if the old show grounds.
