A despatch has been received from Lieutenant Grant stating that he believes himself to be the only European left alive in Manipur. The relieving forces are hurrying the whole of the Ghoorka army in Manipur to the fort captured at Thonal by Lieutenant Grant. The Mironzai have risen, and commenced a general attack. A strong punitive force is proceeding to Kohan to repress them*
