FEILDING, Feb. 3. | At a meeting of saw-millers, yesterday, ! a resolution was passed that it is desirable to approach the Minister for Public Worka with a view to inducing him to encourage local industry by using totara timber only for renewing bridgeß and culverte on the railway lines, instead of importing Australian timber for that purpose.
