WELLINGTON, Jan. 17.

Shearing and mustering of stragglers in the Marlborough and Nelson sheep districts having passed over without the detection of any scab, the Government intend to declare those districts clean. Flock -owners have for some time held clean certificates, but the declaration was withheld to make assurance doubly sure.
