LOMDON, Jam. 6.
The Hon A. J. Balfour and tlie Eurl of Zetland are appealing for funds for tho relief of Irish, familieswho are unable to benefit by tbe carrying outof public works, and also to provido food aud clothes for their childron attending school. CIVIL SERVICE GRIEVANCES. The clerks of the London Post Office aud Savings Banks, who were suspended for refusing to work overtime, complain of tho excessive employment of females in the department.
