ANNUAL PEIZE DISTRIBUTIONS. NOEMAL SCHOOL. The presentation of prizes to the pupils attending the Normal School took place yesterday afternoon. The prizes were presented by the Chairman of the Board of Education, Mr Peryman, and three of his colleagues, Messrs Joyce, Weston and Meredith, Messrs Peryman and Joyce taking the girls' department" and Messrs Weston and Meredith the boys' department and modal school. La9fc night the Foresters' Hall at Eiohmond was crowded on the occasion of the annual distribution of prizes to the children attending the district schools. The chair was occupied by Mr J. Abercrombie, Chairman of the Committee. Mr T. S. Weston was present by request, and j delivered an address. He then distributed the prizes as given below.
