James Catt, convicted of defrauding the Immigration Department of £7, was admitted to twelve months' probation, on condition of his refunding the money and paying £5 towards the cost of his prosecution. Ryan and Buckley, for larceny, were sentenced to six months' imprisonment each. The Hutt manslaughter case is now on.
