A number of French and German financial houses have withdrawn from the Committee which has teen engaged in investigating the Btate of the finances of t.he ArgenL tine Republic. The members of 1 the English houses who remained 1 on the Committee have advised that 1 no preferential security should be offered over existing creditors, and recommend the funding of the coupons for the national external , bonds for a period of three years. j They suggest that in the meantime the inflated paper currency should be curtailed.
