Sale of Racehorses. — A London contemporary cays :— The Hop Jamea White's racehorses did not realise extravagant prices at Newmarket. Captain Machell bonfi-ht Kirkham at GlOgs. Narellan went to Mr Swatin at 25Ogs, but it was not until bidding up to 1750gs that Mr D. Cooper secured Wentwortb, a pond-looking two-year-old bay colt by Chester out of Trafalgar. The same gentleman pad 2600gs for Mone Meg, a pretty two-year-old filly by Martini-Henry out of Malacca. Rosa Show.— We are requested to remind exhibitors that this Shew will be held in the art gallery, near the Armagh. street bridge, on Thursday and Friday next, and that exhibits must be ready for staging by 10 a.m. on Thursday. There will be a refreshment stall, presided over by Mesdames Carrick and Wynn-Williama, and friends are invited to send straw* berries, cherries, cream and. cakea to the stall.'
