Canterbury ChesbCiajb. — Themembeiß will meet to-night for the first time in the hall of the Chamber of Commerce. The new room is a great improvement on the late quarters. The formal opening will take the form of a " social/ and will be held in about a fortnight. Ohoan Recital. —An organ recital given at the Cathedral yesterday evening was moderately attended. The Cathedral organist, Mr G. F. Tendall, played a number of selections excellently, and Mr A. Millar's bass solos were well appreciated.
